What is Advanced Coursework? / ¿Qué son los cursos avanzados?

In Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Learning (CIPL) Advanced Coursework offerings includes Advanced Placement (AP) courses in all major content areas, and a full International Baccalaureate Program at Fresno High. 

In Fresno Unified, we believe that increased access to a range of high quality and supportive advanced learning opportunities for all students has the potential to boost deep learning, achievement and impact the economic progress of our communities. Furthermore, we believe that culturally sustaining curriculum supports creativity, joy of learning, and innovation.

The advanced coursework newsletter is published every two months.  It is a place for us to appreciate our students, families, and colleagues, to broaden our knowledge of research, to get inspired, and to challenge and strengthen our hearts and minds. The goal is to build community.
